* Insert CD in drive and double-click on the "Washington DC" icon in the open CD window. A main menu will appear. Select a topic and explore each sub-menu.
TO VIEW INTERACTIVE PROGRAM
* From the Main Menu, select a topic. Each sub-menu contains many topics to explore.
* You may navigate through the interactive menus by clicking on a button when the highlight appears. You may click on the "American Flag" icon found on the bottom of the screen to go back one menu. During the program, you may click on the "American Flag" at any time to pause, return to the Main Menu, return to the previous menu, or quit the program.
TO VIEW VIDEO MOVIES
* From the Video Library, you may choose to play any movie by clicking on its button.
* During the video playback, click anywhere on the screen to skip the video.
TO INSTALL QUICKTIME¬
* QuickTime is required for video movie playback.
* You may install QuickTime¬ from the Video Library menu. You may also install QuickTime¬ from the CD by opening the QuickTime¬ Installer folder and double-clicking on the QuickTime¬ Installer. Follow the on-screen instructions.
TO PRINT FROM THE "FAST FACTS" SECTION
* Click the "Print" button on the screen to print the on-screen text.
You will then view the page setup screen in case you wish to make any changes to the
printing job.
